Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MakerCart website, catalog, cart, checkout, “Build Something”, BOQ upload and related services (together, the “Store”). By browsing or placing an order you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
The Store is operated by Technoventor Innovations Pvt. Ltd. (“Technoventor”, “we”, “us”). Product listings may include Technoventor catalog stock and, where shown, buy-to-order items sourced from approved suppliers. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable Indian law.
- You may browse as a guest. Signing in with Google creates an account linked to your Google email for cart and order history.
- You are responsible for activity under your signed-in account and for keeping access to that Google account secure.
3. Products, pricing & availability
- Catalog product details, images, specifications, lead times and stock are provided for guidance and may change without notice.
- Buy-to-order / marketplace-sourced lines are clearly labelled. Prices may be refreshed at add-to-cart or checkout; material price changes will be confirmed before you pay.
- We may cancel or refuse an order if an item is unavailable, mispriced, restricted, or suspected of fraud.
- Shipping is ₹99 below ₹1,500 and free at or above ₹1,500, subject to serviceable pincodes.
4. Orders, payment & invoicing
- Placing items in your cart is not an order. An order is formed when payment is successfully authorised/captured (or when we accept a quote for quote-only items).
- V1 prepaid checkout supports UPI, cards and netbanking via our payment gateway. Cash on delivery is not offered.
- GST invoices are issued with HSN per line where attributes are available. Business buyers should provide a valid GSTIN when requested.
- Institutional or high-value baskets may be processed as quote-only.
5. Shipping, risk & title
- Delivery estimates are indicative. Delays caused by courier networks, customs, supplier lead times or incorrect addresses are outside our control once handed over.
- Risk in goods passes on delivery to the address you provide (or on first delivery attempt where applicable). Title passes on full payment.
6. Returns & cancellations
- Unused items in original packaging may be returned within seven (7) days of delivery, subject to our returns policy and category restrictions (e.g. opened electronics, cut materials, hazmat).
- Returns are handled manually via our support team. Refunds, where approved, are made to the original payment method after inspection.
- Custom, quote-only, or specially procured buy-to-order items may be non-returnable once ordered from the supplier.
7. BOQ upload & sourcing requests
- Uploading a bill of quantities (BOQ) or sourcing request sends your file and contact details to our team for a human response.
- We aim to respond within two (2) working days. Upload does not create a binding purchase contract.
- You confirm you have the right to share the file and that it does not contain malware or unlawful content.
8. “Build Something” & AI-assisted BOMs
- AI-generated bills of materials are suggestions only. They are not engineering certification, safety approval, or a guarantee of design fitness.
- You remain responsible for validating parts, quantities, ratings and compliance for your project and jurisdiction.
9. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Store, attempt unauthorised access, scrape in a way that degrades service, upload harmful files, or use the Store for unlawful purposes (including restricted dual-use goods where prohibited).
10. Intellectual property
Store branding, layout, and Technoventor content are owned by us or our licensors. Supplier product images and descriptions remain subject to their respective rights.
11. Privacy
We process account, order, and BOQ data to operate the Store and fulfil requests. See our Privacy Policy. Google Sign-In shares your Google profile email/name/photo as authorised by you. Payment data is handled by our payment provider.
12. Disclaimers & liability
- The Store and listings are provided on an “as available” basis.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Technoventor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability for a paid order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the competent jurisdiction where Technoventor Innovations Pvt. Ltd. is registered shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Store after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
